OSRAM achieved a quantum leap in 24-volt vehicle light development with its patented Single-Coil Technology OSRAM TRUCKSTAR lamps. This technology avoids so-called "hot spots" in the coil, distributing the temperature evenly instead. The result: 100% longer life. At the same time the more stable single coil minimizes susceptibility to vibration. The result: greater robustness. That is a decisive financial advantage compared with all the 24-volt lamps that have gone before. Longer intervals between replacements and less idle time.

Compared to ordinary lamps the single coil generates a markedly more homogeneous light thus providing more even illumination of the road. It targets the light into the furthest recesses, creating better visibility in the important area 50 - 100 meters in front of the vehicle - active accident prevention and greater safety! At the same time the single coil means a sharper, better defined boundary between light and dark. That allows the headlamps to be adjusted more accurately which also means better illumination of the road.
Tip: Have the headlamps adjusted after OSRAM TRUCKSTAR lamps have been fitted!
